Why was CAPA formed?

The purpose of the organization is for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically, to enhance the health and welfare of the general public by encouraging, organizing, and promoting the development and growth of Pickleball. The Association will strive to reduce the financial burden of the Carlisle Parks and Recreation and similar non-profit organization for the construction and improvements of Pickleball courts and related facilities in the Borough of Carlisle and the surrounding region.

Can I deduct my donation on my taxes?

Donations going forward will qualify as valid contributions (and may qualify as deductions on your Federal Tax Return) as the approval and qualification as a 501(c)(3) will be retroactive to date of incorporation/organization which is March 3, 2023.
